God wants you to start this year clean.

He wants you to start with a pure heart.

Not that same old junk lodged in your heart that's been there for some of you years.

I'm Joyce Meyer, and I believe that God can heal you everywhere you hurt.

And I have a vision for this year.

I'm going to be teaching a lot this year on spiritual maturity.

And, you know, there are spiritual spiritual babies Paul talked about babies spiritual

adolescents he didn't talk about them but I think we got spiritual teenagers and we've got

spiritual young adults but it's time to have it's time for us to mature and to grow up my son my old is our son our oldest

son he had a little bit of a temper on him when he was younger well matter of fact he had a big

temper and he spent a lot of time angry and mad my. He got mad easy and he said the other day,

I asked him a question about something. He said, I want to do what everybody, what anybody wants

to do, that's what I want to do. All I want is peace. And I thought, well, praise God,

he's finally grown up. And you know, you look back as you get older and some of you're already experiencing this,

you realize some of the things that you got mad about were so ridiculous.

And my goal for us is to stop just wanting something for ourself all the time and to want something for the kingdom.

The Lord's prayer says,

thy kingdom come.

And we need to see

the kingdom come. We need to see more people brought into the kingdom.

And in order for that to happen, we all have to mature.
