probably what I connect to most in the material in Cressa de Cowell's book to start with was just

what it is to be an outsider. So I think that's what hiccup is. He's just as much as he wants

to assimilate and live up to expectations, whether it's his fathers or his friends or his society.

He's just ill-equipped to ever do it. Maybe when you realize that you can stop changing, trying to change who you are and live up to other people's expectations, maybe you embrace that thing that makes you weird or different or you see as a weakness because it might be a strength in disguise.

and director Dean de Blas' fantasy adventure, How to Train Your Dragon.

This live-action remake of the animated hit tells the story

of an inventive young Viking named Hiccup, who must face a test and fight his village's deadly

draconic nemesis. But instead of battling the dragon, Hickup befriends it, and their bond becomes

the key to forging a new future as an ancient threat endangers them all.
