and open-mindedness, the tension between pursuing the truth dispassionately and belonging to a tribe,

whether it's possible to be too rational, the notion of instrumental rationality, the trade-off

between building a larger audience and remaining true to one's principles,

and whether affiliating with the political party makes it harder to form true beliefs.
