who was killed last week while speaking to students on a university campus.

Charlie admired John MacArthur and was a friend of our ministry, and Charlie's tragic death

is just one more reminder of how depraved the world is.

It also reminds us of something Jesus said that those who follow him would be hated and possibly

even killed for his sake. And yet we also trust that God will cause even this tragedy to work

for good. And we find strength in the fact that scripture doesn't leave us in the dark

when it comes to how Christians should respond to the wickedness of this world.

That was the theme that John MacArthur examined in the messages we're going to air today and tomorrow.
