Have you ever thought God was speaking, but later you realized that it might have just been you?

That's where the confusion begins to set in.

When your thoughts feel spiritual

and the line between your voice and God's voice

starts to become blurry.

So I want to show you the differences

between God's voice and your thoughts

or your own emotions so that you can tell the difference.

Now, I want to begin by making

this very clear, because if you're receiving this message right now, it's because you have a desire,

a hunger to hear God with confidence and clarity. You don't want to be second-guessing all of the

time or blurring that line with your emotions or your own thoughts or your own will. So I want to make this

clear. When it comes to listening to the voice of the Holy Spirit, it's not a skill to be acquired.

It's a sense to be sharpened because if you think it's a skill to be acquired, now you've just

placed an unnecessary burden on yourself. Let me show you what I mean. In John

chapter three, we read beginning at verse number five, Jesus replied, I assure you, no one can enter

the kingdom of God without being born of water and the spirit. Humans can reproduce only human

life, but the Holy Spirit gives birth to spiritual life. So don't be surprised when I say,

you must be born again. The wind blows wherever it wants, just as you can hear the wind but can't
