job interview and securing employment. Being a great team player and teammate has obvious benefits.

It helps you to do great work, get noticed and promoted. Also, people on your team will go on to work other places, get promoted, and if you've

made a positive impression on them, they can 100% bring you along with them as you need a job

throughout your career and hopefully you can do the same.

But making a great impression

through doing great teamwork definitely impacts your career and where you can go and how others

can take you with them. There's something else that I believe is most important for your job

search when it comes to teamwork and collaboration. It's how you talk about team members

during your job interview. It's how you give credit or don't. How you speak about past work

with coworkers will be directly translated by recruiters into how they interpret your work with future coworkers.

Complain about your past coworkers?

You'll be seen as someone who doesn't get along well with others.

Have bad feedback about your last boss.

They'll think you won't like your next boss.

Even if your concerns are 100% valid, that's just the way it is.
