So great question Abby, and I think a lot of us resonate with it.

Again, self-sabotage, in my opinion, is a function of that subconscious that pull to the familiar.

When someone is self-sabotaging, how does that manifest?

It often looks like I set an intention and I do the opposite, or I don't keep my promises to myself.

I talk a lot about showing up in alignment.

And again, I know because of a lot of us are living from that reactive space of our habits and patterns,

we don't show up as we intend.

We don't keep promises to create change in our life, and we create a habit of self-patrial,

not showing up in service.

And again, that's because we very much prefer that familiar space.

So our intentions, again, come typically from the conscious part of our mind that can very beautifully gain wisdom.

See the aspects of the past that didn't work, and troubleshoot those for the future.

Very beautiful intention, yet I can't actualize it, because that pull to the familiar pattern around whatever it is that is occurring is so strong.

So the way out, as many of us have to do to create these new lifestyle changes, because what we're looking for is the consistency,

not just keeping a promise every now and again, when I think of it, doing these things daily.

So we want to create a new habit of keeping those small daily promises of breaking it down, the smaller the better.
