and we distort reality with our minds and in turn hold ourselves back.

And this thing that we're going to talk about today is called catastrophizing,

meaning you become fixated on the worst possible outcome for something in your life.

Oh, if I don't pass this test, then I'm going to fail this class.

And if I fail this class, I'll fail out of

school. And if I fail out of school, then I'll be a complete failure for the rest of my life.

Somehow, a test, and whether you do or don't pass it, just became complete failure for the rest

of your life. That's an example of catastrophizing. So the anxiety of a test
