In this episode, I'm going to share with you my simple three-point

plan that leads to consistent long-term blogging success. Then I'm going to teach you how to overcome

three of the biggest distractions that keep bloggers from staying on the path to success.

Most bloggers are an army of one. That means we do not

have a boss, manager, or even a partner to keep us on the right path. I hope that you have a long-term

plan in place for your blog that you are focused in on. If you do not, then you can use my simple three-part

plan, which is, number one, consistently perform deep keyword research to identify topics that people

are searching for that have a low amount of competition.

Number two, write epic long-form blog post that go above and beyond what all the top 10 results on Google are for that particular topic.

And number three, build high-quality inbound links to increase your domain authority.

Each of these three parts is a proven strategy that produces consistent long-term results.

Instead of using the 80-20 rule, I use the 90-10 rule.

That means 90% of my time is invested in these three strategies. No matter what

happens, I continue marching forward with this plan. I wish I could say that I have always had this

laser-like focus on my own blog. The reality is that it took me all the way up to two years ago before I was

able to stay on the path and keep my blinders on. This leads me to the first and most common

plan destroyer, the shiny object. My first year of blogging was a typical fail in regards to stick into the plan. After four
