Welcome to a special edition of the Gospel Truth.

Again today, I'm going to be playing a teaching that I gave in Phoenix, Arizona during our Gospel Truth Conference in January of 2021.

And I'm talking about how to stay positive in a negative world.

We definitely are living in a negative world where all of the bad things are being amplified and the good things are being diminished, and you need this teaching.

I think it'll really help you, and I just thought it was so good that I wanted to put it on our program.

So watch this at the end of the program, we'll come on and share with you about how you can receive this teaching that will help you stay positive in a negative world.

How do you keep yourself encouraged?

Man, I turn to the Word of God and see if you have a misunderstanding of the Word of God and think, well, God just sovereignly does everything.

Well, then you aren't going to understand, and you're going to be discouraged thinking, God, have you lost your ever-loving mind, putting in people who are killing babies and want to do all of this stuff and defund the police and anarchy, and they are going to loose all of this stuff.

God, what are you up to? God's not the one who did this.

So you need to know God through the Word, and there's so many people that try and have a relationship with God outside of the Word.

To me, there is no conflict between this.

Man, as I study the Word, as I read about Gideon and what happened with him, man, that's God speaking to me.

God has spoken those exact things to be about. I'm a mighty man of valor when there's nothing in my life that proves it, and yet in God speaks to me.

And this is how I have relationship with God.

The way I encourage myself in the Lord is through the Word of God.

And again, we're preaching to the choir in some degree, because you are the fanatics that come out on a Friday morning to a conference like this.
