So this week we're going to talk about how to stay home. Now we've already talked

about how to come home. If you're a prodigal, how do you come home? But now we want to

talk about how do you stay home, all right?

And Luke 15, let me read you just a few verses out of Luke 15.

And thank you for bringing your Bible.

I know we always put the scriptures up on the screen but I think it's good to get in the habit

of reading, reading our Bibles even on the weekend during the message.

So Luke 15, verse 17.

But when he came to himself, he said,

how many of my father's hired servants

have bred enough and despair, and I perish with hunger?

I will arise and go to my father and will say to him,

Father I've sin against heaven and before you and I'm no longer worthy to be

called your son. Make me like one of your hired servants.

Now, the prodigal son had a change of heart.

He had a change of mind.

He left and he thought that I'll be happier if I take this money and go out and spend it the way I want to spend it and I drink and I get involved in all these things I've never been involved with.

After doing that, he changed his mind, came home, he turned from sin and turned his heart back toward home, if we came up with one Bible word to describe

what happened here, what would that Bible word be?

In other words, he turned from a life of sin and turned to serving

his father again, changed his heart. One Bible word, what would you say would describe it?

Repentance, right?
