0:11.9	Several years ago, when we first began the Enjoying the Journey broadcast, we started with my favorite book of the Bible.

0:22.3	Philippians. And the theme, of course, of that great book is the joy of the Lord Jesus Christ.
0:28.0	Truly, it is the Bible treaties on what it means to enjoy the journey. Now we're thrilled to share
0:35.5	this anniversary series with you again in the hopes that God will use it in your life to help you learn to enjoy the Lord Jesus Christ at whatever stage you happen to be on on life's journey.

1:01.5	For many years, I have been collecting epitaphs. Now, you know what epitaphs are.
1:06.4	They're the little one line that is allowed on a grave marker. This is your whole life boiled down to one
1:13.3	statement, one phrase. I thought so much about what I want my epitaph to be someday. The truth of
1:20.0	the matter is, most of us will not write that for ourselves. It'll be the testimony we leave behind.
1:25.7	I've been collecting epitaphs for years, and recently I ran across a beautiful one,
1:30.9	one that I want to add to my collection, and in fact I want to make it a prayer for my life.
1:35.7	Charles Spurgeon said that he observed a certain tombstone.
1:39.8	It was a tombstone for a woman who died at about age 80, and he said the epitaph on this one tombstone
1:46.6	powerfully affected him. It simply said, who after a happy and grateful enjoyment of life died.
1:55.6	What a statement. Who after a happy and grateful enjoyment of life died.
2:01.6	Now if Jesus doesn't come, we're all going to die.
2:04.6	The question is, are you going to die happy in Jesus?
2:07.6	In the words of the Apostle Paul, are you going to finish your course with joy?
2:12.6	I'd love for it to be said by my children or grandchildren someday
