I'm sure you're all following the demonstrations at campuses across America.

They're getting a lot of media attention.

And so have of late Iran and Israel's direct attacks at each other.

But both of those things stem in part from the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, and go figure

that is getting comparatively less attention of late.

It's been backburnered and it shouldn't be.

Consider this, more than 75% of Gaza's population, or 1.7 million people, are displaced.

A majority of all buildings are destroyed.

Most of those displaced are crowded into shelters or tents.

Clean water is scarce, which usually leads to the spread of disease.

More than a million

gauzens face what the World Food Program is calling catastrophic levels of hunger. That could turn

into famine, which could dramatically increase the numbers of the dead from the current 34,000.
