Well, after a little early fall break, we are back.

And we're back to talk about something that I feel like it's coming up a lot,

not just in our lives, but in this particular season.

And, you know, we talk about seasons of our life and a

season of this. No, I mean like fall, autumn, back to school. Maybe your first fall where you're

not going back to school. You graduated and oh my God, you're just spat out into the world.

It's also election season. It's the concept of standing up for your own opinions

and therefore standing up for yourself in general. I feel like lately I've been getting a lot of

pushback from people in my life. And of course I always get pushback from people on the

internet, big whoop, but people in my life who are questioning why I think

this, why I'm doing this, why are you wearing this? And so much of the time, this pushback,

because that is how I see it, is framed as, well, just help me understand.

And I literally said to a friend yesterday, I said, you know what, the reason I'm defensive

and punchy about this is because the subtext of, help me understand, is clearly, I don't

understand. And the subtext of that is, I don't understand because you're wrong.

So you need to convince me why you are dressing like this.

You need to convince me why you're voting like this, why you're thinking like this,
