0:19.0	Well, a couple weeks ago, I took my wife and kids and I,
0:22.8	we all went to the New River Gorge National Park,
0:27.0	the newest national park in America.
0:29.6	And yes, thank you, in West Virginia. And sort of the centerpiece of this new National Park is the new River Gorge Bridge.
0:39.6	This massive bridge spans across a gorge in the Appalachian Mountains
0:45.0	that was cut by the new river, one of the few rivers
0:48.6	that flow from south to north on the planet.
0:52.2	And this bridge is massive.
0:55.8	It's about 3,000 feet long,
0:58.9	and for decades, it was the world's longest
1:02.2	single-spanned arched bridge.
1:05.7	It also sits 876 feet above the river below it.
1:12.3	That made it one of the highest vehicular bridges in the world.
1:16.0	It was the highest when it was constructed back in the late 1970s.
1:20.0	The ranger told us it's like the Washington Monument with two statues of liberty stacked on top.
1:27.0	That's how tall the bridge is, right?
1:30.0	And so my family and I, you're able to buy some tickets and walk on the cat walk on that bridge.
1:38.0	I think we have a picture of the people I love most in this world suspended precuriously above the earth
