Summary

Jim Vance is the author of "Run With Power", which details how to use a running power meter for better performance. Jim is the personal coach for 2016 US Olympic triathlete Ben Kanute, and Head Coach for Formula Endurance, a USA Triathlon High Performance Team.  And while he has coached elite athletes at all levels, he's also an accomplished former-triathlete himself, winning two amateur world championships and a 3rd place finish at IM Florida.

And I want to tell you a story about one of the training acts last year who was always every single

week in the top one, two, or three of athletes that completed the most percentage of their

workouts in the previous 28 days. He was just obsessed with being on the leaderboard. But he did the

right work. He did the workouts that were prescribed to him,

to the letter, and for the first time,

and I wanna say he had raced for eight years up to this point,

he made his first world championship.

And this is at, yeah, a time in his life

So I got to witness this at Atlantic City last year.

And it was a really nice thing to see how somebody who's dedicated to the workouts and doing them and following them actually really gets good results.
