Hello, hello everybody. I'm Lexi Lombardier host of the Alexi podcast and thank you for

tuning in. I have never been more grateful that this is not a video

podcast I look rough right now I look irresponsible right now I was out. I went to a concert, I had a margarita for dinner,

that's all you need to know. But I had fun. I also made myself a coffee this morning,

sipped it, said, not strong enough, added another double shot,

feeling energized. Typically, that would send me over the edge. I normally can't even

drink a regular hot coffee of a single shot on an empty stomach.

We're four shots in and I'm here baby. Let's do it.

Monday was a holiday and that's typically when I record the podcast.

So I'm coming in much later in the week that I normally do.

But I feel happy.

I feel good.

Just glad you can't see me and only hear me. This week has been wild. I'm sure unless you're

living under a rock you heard about the attacks in Israel and I have not been posting online because this is my time to shut up and listen.

I do not understand the nuances and complexities of this age old war over religion, over land. there's innocent people dying on both sides

involving a corrupt government which I thought initially was a terrorist

group there's so much that I don't understand and there's so much that I need to learn so first of all if your

family is in Palestine or in Israel if you are Palestinian or, my heart is going out to you. I do not

understand what is happening. I cannot imagine and I am so sorry I can sympathize but I cannot empathize I have no idea

what it's like to be in your shoes right now and I see all these infographics going up on Instagram and I can't even

front like I understand this is a really complex issue I think this is my time to zip my lips and just open my ears, but I do want to give a moment of recognition for the devastation that is happening. The internet has been a hot place. So wild too. I had a brand deal that was

supposed to go up and I'm like I can't be posting about a deorder right now.
