Here is Grace to you Bible teacher John MacArthur.

We are studying the book of Ephesians these days, and it may seem like an abrupt transition

from the celebration of Christmas to the passage

we're looking at, but this is the one that the Lord has laid before us this morning.

It's Ephesians 6, and we're going to be looking at verses 10 through 13.

More of an overview of that, as you'll find out in a moment.

Let me read these verses to you, Ephesians 6, 10 to 13.

This is where we find ourselves in our ongoing study of this amazing epistle.

He wraps up the epistle, does Paul, by saying, finally,

Be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might, put on the full armor of God so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil.

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers,

against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.

Therefore, take up the full armor of God so that you will be able to resist

in the evil day and having done everything to stand firm. Again, it might seem like a complete

change in subjects from the celebration of the birth of Christ
