Let's dive into this episode.

0:28.6

How to read the entire Bible in this coming year. Even if you've never done it before.

0:31.6

See, according to the American Bible Society, 87% of American households own a Bible. The average home has actually three

0:39.5

Bibles available. But only 11% have read the entire Bible. 30% of American surveyed have read

0:48.4

no more than several passages or stories. See the Bible is not just a book, it's the book. And I like what somebody says,

0:57.0

if you don't get into your Bible, your enemy will get into your business. I believe this coming year should be the year of the Bible,

1:05.0

where you read the entire Bible in this coming year. And you know that's possible. I've been practicing

1:11.4

this habit for decades already of reading through the scripture in the entire year.

1:16.8

There were seasons where I didn't read the whole Bible in one year because I took

time really to read particular books or portions of the Bible many many times.

1:26.1

But practicing this habit since my teenage years has been one of the Bible many, many times, but practicing this habit since my teenage years

1:36.4

1:41.6

1:46.8

bread for daily use, not a cake for special occasions. In the Old Testament, God gave Israel manna to

1:54.4

sustain them in the wilderness and manna stopped when they reached the promised land. See, in this world,

2:00.6

we're like in spiritual wilderness.

2:02.2

We're going to the Promised Land, heaven. And God has given us His man, our daily bread. Like

2:08.3

man that came from heaven, God's Word is also inspired by the Holy Spirit. Manna had to be eaten.

2:14.0

Same thing with God's Word. It has to be read. You have to listen to it. Manna came to the people. See, God's word came to us. Manna had to be gathered daily and God wants us to be in his word daily.
