0:14.5	Did you know that the people around you are depending on you having a daily prayer life?
0:20.6	The prayer is not just about you, it's about what God wants to do also through you, with
0:25.5	your family, with your friends, with your co-workers.
0:27.9	Did you know that your spouse really needs you to pray that when you struggle to pray
0:32.4	every day, it's not just affecting you, it's affecting your spouse, you're not able
0:36.8	to be that husband, that wife, that God is calling you to be.
0:39.5	Did you know that when you struggle in daily prayer, you're not able to be the mom, the
0:44.3	dad, that God is calling you to be to your children.
0:47.7	If you're in a dating relationship and you don't have a daily prayer life, you're not able
0:52.2	to really give the best of yourself to that dating relationship.
0:55.8	You see, prayer is not just about me.
0:58.2	Now, I want to be clear here at the beginning that why do we pray the first and foremost
1:03.1	reason for prayer is that we owe it to God, just out of justice for who God is as the
1:09.0	divine being.
1:10.0	We owe him everything.
1:11.0	We owe him our whole lives, our devotion, our sacrifices, and our prayer.
1:16.5	So we owe God our time of prayer.
1:19.3	He is worthy of our praise, our thanksgiving, our crying out to him in our need, recognizing
1:24.9	how dependent we are on him, out of justice.
1:28.3	This is what St. Thomas Aquinas says, out of the virtue of justice.
1:32.6	This is what we owe God.
