I realized that I had grown my net worth from 70K to over 700K in the span of five years.

Steps that I took that a lot of people can take day to day.

One of the biggest things I did was job hopping, which I know is kind of like a negative term,

but I quit my way rich.

And I did it intentionally in the sense that if one of two things wasn't true at a job,

if I wasn't earning when I felt I was worth,

or I didn't have a clear trajectory toward higher earnings and higher title and salary with that company,

I was a textbook flight risk. I would be out of there as soon as the next hot opportunity came my way.

I didn't just take any opportunities, but I always took the next job.

I tallied it up. I think I switched jobs seven times over those 10 years.
