0:00.0	It just means you're going to work until you die. And that was my dad's story, right? I mean,
0:03.0	he's kind of on the forefront of the baby boomers. He was born during World War II.
0:07.0	Because I remember sitting down with him. This was 20 years ago. And I'm looking at this. And he said,
0:10.7	hey, look at my finances. I'm 61 years old. I want to been doing everything right. And then when I sat down with him, I said, Dad, well,
0:22.6	based on what you have here, what you've saved your 401k,
0:24.6	even though you've been maxing it out, you paid off all your debt,
0:27.6	the problem is you better hope you die in five years,
0:30.6	because you will run out of money in five years without Social Security.
0:33.6	He was 61 at the time. I said, with Social Security, you could stretch out a little bit longer. And he's like, well, I don't want that to be the case. I like to live. And I said,
0:43.5	well, I don't know what to do for you, right? And that's the thing. As a financial advisor,
0:47.4	he was doing everything right. That's what got me out of financial advising. When I realized
0:50.6	even someone who did everything right couldn't retire, who expects anybody else to.
0:55.4	And we're seeing that today.
