And today, I want to discuss a skill set. I want to discuss one of the fastest ways to halt the pattern that leads to anxiety before I get into it.

And Warriors, we're talking about pattern interruption today, pattern interruption.

Now, the best way for me to explain what pattern interruption is is basically when you're engaged or thinking about something,

or you're doing something, or you're about to get emotionally caught up in something.

You do something that interrupts that cycle. So it basically halts the momentum, that negative momentum that's taking place, moving in the direction you don't want to go.

So what happens here is pattern interruption forces your subconscious mind into a state where it waits for information by your conscious mind.

What it does is it helps you break habits and helps you to reprogram your subconscious. So your subconscious becomes a messenger receiving instructions from your conscious mind.

Now, this was very valuable for me, Warriors, because I realized, hey, I don't want to be spending a tremendous amount of time and energy on positive thinking.

Which only kept me coping with my anxiety symptoms. I didn't want to go down that route.

I wanted to use something that would allow me to open up the gates of a new perspective, a new perception on how to view the thing that I was afraid of, whether that be an internal symptom or an external thing, maybe it was a situation or a person.

So that pattern interrupt gave me the opportunity to see beyond the direction that I was headed.

Now, the question is, how do we implement a pattern interrupt? I want you to go ahead and write down these very important points in terms of implementing the pattern interrupt.

So that you can open yourself up to feeling and thinking differently about that thing you are afraid of.

Number one, decide on a particular behavior that you would like to change.

Okay, make sure that it's an automatic behavior, something that you do without thinking about it, like eating junk food or watching TV.
