Hello, It is not a met-gal a week and the rest of the world people are like what's the met-gal but I'm kind of obsessed with it.

Jess is obsessed with it. Anybody who loves fashion and beauty loves this event and so I wanted to do an episode a little bit themed around it and I

thought who better than Shawnee to hang out with me so Shawnee Darden is here she's a

facialist based in Beverly Hills that's where she opened her studio back in 2019.

You may know her name because it's on her own line of skincare.

I know I've talked about the cleansing serum on the pod in the past.

It's so gorgeous.

I'm obsessed with it. But she's been

working with clients like Jessica Alba, Rosie Huntington Whiteley, Shane Mitchell,

Kelly Rowland for years, and I knew she was in New York City this past weekend

to prep Riley Kio for the Met Gala and some other people you hear about.

So I thought we'll have her on the podcast the morning after.

We can have a little kiki about the gala, talk about some of the looks, and more importantly, I can quiz her about the looks of the looks and more importantly I can quiz her about the things all of us non-celebrities can do

when we're prepping for big events like weddings, reunions, etc.

Turns out actually though, so this is the morning after of the Monday,

the first Monday in May of the Met Gala, she's already back in LA. She flew out on the red eye,

she must be exhausted, but she was nice enough to hop into the virtual studio.
