One of my favorite devotional writers, probably is known for his books on prayer, is a man named

E.M. Bounds. E.M. Bounds wrote these words. He said, talking to men about God is a good thing,

but talking to God for men is a great thing. Talking to men about God is a good thing, but talking to God for men is a great thing. Talking to men about God is a good thing, but talking to God for men

is a great thing. He's contrasting evangelism and intercession and really putting them together

that's showing us how important it is to pray for people. And in our series, because you prayed

as we're approaching the eighth message here.

This may be the most important message of any of them that I've shared with you.

I want to talk to you today.

This is important.

I'll explain what this means is how to pray someone out of Sodom.

How to pray someone out of Sodom.

Sodom is the place of bondage from theage, so a place in the Old Testament.

Sodom is the place of bonders that has its grip on a loved one for many years.

In this story, the man in bondage, his name is Lot.

And the man that will help get hell's grip off of him is a praying man and a man of faith

named abraham he will be the man who will talk to god about lot how to pray someone out of

sodom is really learning this this is what it's learning what we're teaching you to do. It's praying for

people that will not pray for themselves. That's what we're going to begin to discover today.

Listen to these words from Genesis 1929, but God had listened to Abraham's request. This is the prayer

and kept Lot safe by removing and rescuing him

from the disaster that engulfed the cities and those cities are Sodom and Gomorrah.
