All right, tonight I am going to share with you about how to overcome your big, bad self.

Big bad carnal self. That may not sound like a big deal, carnal self.

That may not sound like a big deal, but it is, and I believe that our biggest enemy is our self.

And Satan can only do what we give him permission to do.

He has to have our consent and cooperation in order to be able to do anything.

And this is something that God has really been speaking to me. He's been working on me for 57 years is when he started this. And we've got some things happening now that I really

had to apply this to myself.

And the Lord just spoke to me that every one of us need this.

And so I'm going to be sharing with you.

We're eventually going to wind up in Exodus chapter 4, but it'll take me just a little bit to get there.

But this is talking about Moses.

And Moses is an example

of two extremes. And, you know, some people have a problem with themselves because they are

self-confident, and they just don't wait on God. They do things their own way. You know, the

antithesis of that is what Ashley was talking about, about trust in the

Lord with all of your heart and lean not unto your own understanding.

And there's a lot of times that we just get a word from God, make a paragraph out of it,

and we go and do things in our own strength and power.

And it was made very clear today.
