How'd you get out of the victim mentality and do you think we're in that space right now in society?

I feel for myself personally, I don't think I've ever been a victim.

I think I've always, I think I've always just, my mom was so cold raising us that if you fell down, you brushed it off and you got back up.

Like, you didn't have time to be a victim.

Like there was none of that.

I, she's a victim herself in her own way, but she never allowed the children to be, she was very cold. There was no coddling.

There was no, no, is brush it up, get up, you know, like so very different for me. So I don't think I

ever. You never had that. You never even allowed that in. Yeah. I didn't even, yeah't even even even now like if i get sick or

if i'm in pain or something i mean i have to be like on my deathbed before i'm like raising the flag

like to help me because we i i don't know any differently that was my normal i think in this day and age we've

normal we've we've made it normal to be victims and i think that people are oblivious because

it is so unconscious the behavior yeah i think sometimes people don't recognize it. I think that sometimes the flags are so

close that we can't even see them because we're too close to it, that when you get a different

perspective or you're able to see it from a different angle, or you recognize it in a relationship,

like my husband had to tell me about all of my own

awful flags and my rage. Like when we would get into an argument, I would go black. I mean,

things that were so fucked up. But that was my normal. And it wasn't until he was able to talk to me about it and show me it from a different

angle.
