Scrolling through social media is something people do when they feel anxious.

Why? Because they're using what's on their phone to distract themselves from the uncomfortable feelings in their body.

The irony is it usually just makes you more anxious

anxiety is an alarm that is hardwired in your body to make you wake up and what it's asking you to do is to give yourself a little bit of love and reassurance right now.
