podcast, and we sit down and have a conversation

about imposter syndrome within the church.

I think sometimes some of us, we can come into the church

or the body of Christ and feel as if we're not Christian enough.

We can feel as if we don't fit the mold of the people around us and we're not as righteous

or holy as them, so we feel as if we don't belong as a child of God in some ways.

So we sit down and speak to what imposter central looks like within the church and understanding that

sanctification doesn't come from us but from God. We didn't make ourselves

holy, he did. So there's no way that we could ever boast in ourselves or make

anyone feel out of place because of where they're at with God. And so in the end, we essentially speak a lot

to what it looks like to humble ourselves

before God and eliminate pride in our lives

when it comes to this entire conversation.

But something that you you spoke to that I don't hear a lot if ever is when it comes to

imposter syndrome within the church and whenever I was listening to you to speak to that

we had just done an episode called the Dif of Joy

and it was basically just us going through

the danger of comparison and how that can disrupt so much of our

relationships within the kingdom and hold so many people back from ultimately like really where they need to be where God wants them.
