On May 1, 2021 God spoke to me to quit my job where my wife and I were very comfortable, making over $100,000/yr with amazing benefits and seniority, into unpaid missionary work. We have given up everything we worked for for years because of the call of God which takes priority over our convenience, comfort, and even our dreams and desires. God spared my life in Afghanistan and I know there was a divine purpose.

Shane's journey took a radical turn on May 1, 2021, when the Lord spoke to me and told me to quit my job, lay down my goals, my desires, and my retirement to become an unpaid missionary! From the day God spoke until the day we arrived in McKinney, TX, was 19 days. If I've learned one thing in my time walking with the Lord, it's always to obey His voice immediately :)
I am now serving as a missionary with One Voice Student Missions and am a Social Director with the Jesus Clubs. I help oversee and provide direction to all of our digital missionaries, who have a combined reach of nearly 10,000,000 followers. The goal of digital missions is to provoke in-person evangelism, promote events, and serves as a platform to preach the gospel to groups that no man-made stadium could ever contain!
