or Instagram, you've probably figured out

that the Wild West of medicine is plastic surgery.

It truly is and anything goes type of a situation out there and so for a patient or

a prospective patient it can be pretty scary. There are literally thousands of doctors

masquerading as real plastic surgeons and performing cosmetic procedures

on unsuspecting patients.

Literally this is every day of the week and I can't tell you how many stories I've heard

patients who come to see me, patients who have emailed me,

who have left comments in our Facebook page

about people who have been duped

by these phony plastic surgeons

have undergone operations and then had complications afterwards.

So today we're going to talk a little bit about this whole situation and give you some tips

so that you can prevent yourself from being a victim of this wild west of medicine.
