This topic is a doozy and it always used to piss me off when everybody would say,

oh, you're the average, the five people you spend the most time with.

I'm like, what does that mean, brother? How do I use that? How do I apply that? How come none of my

friends that have had for years are talking to me? How come my family is calling me crazy right now?

I don't have anybody in my corner to tell me that I'm doing the right stuff. So in the beginning

of your financial freedom journey and your entrepreneurship journey,

it is scary as shit.

You are basically going out into the wilderness with a machete,

just hacking your way through the trees and the brush,

and you're hoping that you're going in the right path,

while all of the people in your camp at the

town that you've lived in for your entire life are telling you, don't do that. That's the wrong way.

Stay here. It's safe. That's why you guys aren't getting what you want to be, because you keep going

back to the safety of this town, if that makes sense. That's why it's not the deals, it's not the analysis, it's not the

underwriting, it's not, you know, the capital raising. That's really the scary part. It's this.
