The Open University, the future is open.

So I started making little products.

And these small forays, if you will, into entrepreneurship just got bigger and bigger over time.

And to share one of my favorite things that I did, I wrote a romance novel. It had nothing to do with what my personal finance stuff was.

But it was still a skill that I built through blogging and writing and freelancing.

It was just being deployed in a different way. And I want people to kind of think about

them. I'm like, your skills can be used in a lot of different ways. And so one day I was like,

you know what, I read these romances all the time. Like, I could write a romance. I wrote one

in that first month I made $514, I believe is what I made.

And that's a big deal because I mentioned that my mortgage was less than $600. That was my mortgage.

And so I started like really thinking about, well, what are the products that I could create?

Like, I made a course because of that book sale. And it's just kind of grown over time.

And I think anyone who's listening to this and they're like, I'm nervous to do these things.

I tend to act fast and then go back and refine. I don't have this like perfectionist thing that a lot of

people have. I've made a lot of money
