So I've already shared on the podcast and I've been speaking about it a lot in self-coaching society,

but I've been reading and following the artist's way by Julia Cameron and oh my is it an incredible book I am loving it

anyone who's read the book will know about the morning pages and the artist dates

which I'm also going to be speaking about in the podcast in the coming days.

I also want to get Julia on the podcast.

But I bring this up today because I've been having more and more thoughts around

frankly what creates a beautiful full life experience.

And in the artist's way, the way that creativity is spoken about is as a gift, right? Our creativity is a gift.

The divine creator, whoever you believe that to be, formed you with creativity, right?

There is only one you there will never be another you

think about you just going out into the world watching a sunset like the universe is the ultimate artist. And as I kind of go through this book and do the exercises and write my morning pages every morning,

which is simply a stream of consciousness writing for three full pages, and then taking out a couple of hours of my week every

week to put myself on a solo date that allows me to be creative or in a

creative environment like going to a museum or like creating a vision board,

or like even cooking something that I never would normally venture into.

I do find myself connecting with myself in different ways and noticing that I'm in fact paying

attention to things in the world that would just be absolutely out of my consciousness normally. I'm getting to know Miami more intimately.

I'm getting to play around almost childlike with different thoughts, different activities that I enjoy doing, putting my hands in, being a must in.

And one thing that Julia Cameron shared in her book that I just thought was deeply profound was what real joy is.

Right? Like what is real joy? She speaks about receiving letters from her grandmother when she was young,

and her grandmother had a very unhappy situation with an addict for a husband.
