Thank you for having me. It's a pleasure to be with you.

So what made you write this book, turning point policymaking in the era of artificial intelligence?

AI is taking off. It is everywhere. In fact, since we did that book,

a couple of years ago, it really has expanded even more dramatically.

I mean, it's really being deployed in every sector, finance, healthcare, transportation, retail, national defense.

So there's a lot of interest in it, a lot of opportunities, but a lot of problems that popped up as well.

What first got you interested in AI?

I mean, I've been interested in digital technology for many years.

AI is the transformative technology that I think is driving a lot of the digital innovation that's taking place right now.

Like, you know, people are following the issue of autonomous vehicles.

That is really an AI thing. You can't really have those types of things without AI applications.

When you look at some of the generative AI things such as GBT, where there's been a lot of discussion over the last few weeks,

that is all AI driven. So, AI is just interesting as a subject matter of the algorithms are getting more and more sophisticated.

They're being deployed much more frequently.

AI is actually becoming ubiquitous in ways people don't even realize.
