Today, we are talking about how to make a house a home.

I think this really has a lot of value because I think there are a lot of people living in homes

that may feel more like an Airbnb and it may not feel very personal to you.

And if that's you, this episode is for you.

It's really a problem.

I think there's a lot of people living in a house and not a home.

And when we say house, it's a loose term. It can be an apartment, a condo. And when we say house

and use that term, we're using that as a broad sense. So if it's a condo, a townhome,

an RV, or an actual standalone house, you need to create a space

for yourself that is actually a home. And there is a big difference. I even looked up the two

words, Anita, and home is a place where one lives permanently, especially as a member of a family or a household.

There is a sense of belonging.

And house is a building for human habitation.

So if you look around and you feel like you're just living in a building for human habitation,

it's got all the things you need, but it isn't reflective of you and it's not supporting you

in the way that a home environment can, then really get your pen and paper, pull up a chair, and we're going to

teach you today how to transform your house into your home. That's right. And I think the first

thing to think about is how to make it functional for you.
