Summary

Where fairytales come true: a story on how to live your best life

I have secretly been planning this podcast episode — all about how to live your best life — in my mind for more than two years. Bringing this story to you, friend, is…well, a dream come true. As you’ll soon hear, it all started once upon a time, many, many years ago. There I was, presenting at a conference, when Stephanie Osmundson and Loreal Hemenway made themselves known to me. And then…well, you’ll just have to listen to this episode to get the rest of the story because their tale is the stuff that living your dreams is made of. (Spoiler alert: Stephanie and Loreal are a case study on what it means to “live your dream” and they'll show you how!)

How to live your best life now

Stephanie and Loreal are not only best friends (and have been for many years), they are also business partners and the owners of Happily Ever Elementary. Most of all, they are — literally — living their best life now! And on today’s podcast episode, they will not only share what it means to live your best life, they will also offer strategies and tools for you to do the same. As Stephanie and Loreal attest, you can become anything that you want to become, friend! The trick, of course, is to get really clear on what you want first. And if you can figure that out, anything (and I mean ANYTHING) is possible. As a teaser, their happily ever after includes being both stay-at-home moms AND teachers in the classroom. Are you ready to begin living your dream? Listen to this episode for all of the inspiration…

ABOUT STEPAHNIE AND LOREAL AND HAPPILY EVER ELEMENTARY

Stephanie and Loreal are two young teachers who are on a mission to make classroom dreams come true! This journey revolves around bringing meaningful engagement to instruction and creating beautiful learning spaces that remind children of Disneyland. They are also both mamas to two boys, with Loreal’s first precious daughter on the way. In an effort to spend more time with their growing families, the two will be splitting a teaching contract for the first time at their neighborhood elementary school. It is a dream come true for these two teachers and now they can focus on finding the longed-for work life balance.

In this episode, you will learn:

  • How living your dream begins with turning your back on fear
  • That to succeed you must START
  • Why building trust first is instrumental to live your best life now
  • That when failure befalls, being honest, open, and genuine may allow you to connect more fully with your audience
  • That living your dream begins by ASKING for what you want
