Good morning indeed we are picking up with a three of our don't waste your life devotional

in the Bible app it's been a heart piercer which you know I like it a lot of devotions

very practical we can apply it.

This is one of those ones that gets to the root cause so it's been really deep but really

good.

with us and as always I'm going to read the scripture and then towards going to pick

up with the diva.

Let's do it.

The scripture is Mark chapter 8 verses 34 and 35 and it says this then calling the crowd

to join his disciples he said this if any of you wants to be my follower you must give

up your own way take up your cross and follow me.

If you try to hang on to your life you will lose it but if you give up your life from

my sake and for the sake of the good news you will save it.

The devotional is titled risk is right better to lose your life than to waste it and it

says living to magnify Christ is costly.

This is not surprising he was crucified he was treated like a devil and he calls us to

follow him.

If anyone would come after me let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.
