| 1:12.9 | You are the president and CEO of the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence, and you are also a survivor. And today we are going to talk about |

| 1:30.3 | And we are going to be talking about mutual abuse, the myths of mutual abuse. |
| 1:37.0 | And for those that don't know your organization, the organization has been up and running since 1978. |
| 1:47.9 | And you, the organization has been very involved in policymaking, specifically the biggest things. |
| 1:56.4 | I guess the woman against, the violence against women, sorry, the woman, I used to do it for me. |
| 2:03.8 | The Violence Against Women Act. |
| 2:05.3 | The Violence Against Women's Act, amongst many other really big initiatives. |
| 2:13.0 | And, I mean, there's been the Family Violence Prevention and Services Act, International Violence Against Women Act, and the Legislative Action Day. |
| 2:22.4 | The organization started born out of the Civil Rights Movement, and it has been now 44 years. |

| 2:35.2 | And you yourself have been a survivor of domestic violence. |
| 2:40.1 | And then you, you know, working yourself through advocacy and then getting into the, into the position where you are today. |
| 2:47.0 | And at the end of this, I hope that we can discuss as well how someone who is a |
| 2:53.2 | survivor of this can become an advocate like you are and where they can begin. So with all of that, |
| 3:02.3 | everyone, let's get into it. And let's just start here with mutual abuse, the myths of mutual abuse, because this is where I started to, you know, when it came to this trial that is going on, which is the Johnny Depp Amber Heard trial, where I started to see your name pop up as saying like, hey, mutual abuse is not a thing. |
