I'd like to start by saying the purpose of this discussion is not to motivate you and

we're not going to be doing something spiritual in nature.

I just want the purpose of this session to be clear to anybody who's interested in studying

the Arabic language.

If you've had any interest or curiosity about learning Arabic, whatever level you are,

then this might be beneficial for you.

When somebody says, I want to build a house, and you say, okay, well, let's talk about the

land, let's talk about the foundation, let's talk about the concrete, the steel, the wood,

the plumbing, the electricity, and constructing a house is an entire process, right?

And some parts of that process are under the ground, some parts of it are over the ground,

and you need different specializations before you can get to a house.

But somebody says, no, don't give me all these details, just tell me how I can get a house.

How do I build a house?

Then you're not understanding the problem.

The problem is it's huge, it's a big project, and it's made up of many parts, right?
