Are you relying upon the Holy Spirit or are you relying upon yourself?

Now, as believers, none of us want to be self-reliant.

We want to be spirit-reliant. So I want to share with you three green flags or signs that indicate

that you actually trust the Holy Spirit because sometimes we say we do and sometimes it's possible.

We even think that we trust him him but then hesitate in certain areas so

i want you to be honest as you begin to evaluate yourself as we go through the scripture and as we

look at examples in the bible of people who trusted the holy spirit in certain ways and so i believe

that as you hear this you're going to be challenged and there will be areas of your heart and mind revealed that maybe you didn't even know we're there.

So I believe that God is going to speak to you.

I believe he's going to encourage you.

Let's get now into the word.

Number one, the first green flag that you trust the Holy Spirit, that you know that you're not self-reliant, is number one, you

obey immediately. In Acts chapter 8, beginning at verse number 26, this is what the book of Acts

records. As for Philip, an angel of the Lord said to him, go down the desert road that runs from

Jerusalem to Gaza.

So he started out and he met the treasurer of Ethiopia, a eunuch of great authority under the

queen of Ethiopia. The eunuch had gone to Jerusalem to worship and he was now returning.

Seated in his carriage, he was reading aloud from the book of the prophet
