I'm Pastor Jonathan Laurie,

and it's great to see you all here today on this Pentecost Sunday,

very cool day in church history, where we remember,

and the first century, this was the day that the church was born.

Ultimately, this is when God poured out his Holy Spirit

upon the church when they were all gathered together in one room,

there in Jerusalem, and mighty rushing wind was heard,

and many began to speak in tongues,

and they're filled with the Holy Spirit,

and people came from all the surrounding area to see what happened,
