All righty, who's ready to get to work, amen? So good to see you. Welcome to church. If you got your Bible, go to Exodus chapter 20. We're dealing with the Ten Commandments. This year we're going to be in the Book of Exodus, and we're starting right in the middle with the Ten Commandments. So today we're going to hit commandment number two, no idolatry. And so we're going back about

three and a half thousand years into the past, into the days of Moses where God reveals to him

the Ten Commandments, which become the centerpiece of the law and the foundation for morality.

And what's really interesting, just consider this today.

How many moral objectives, ideas, concepts do you think in three and a half thousand years,

people will still believe are wise, helpful, prudent, and good? The answer is, next to nothing

at the Ten Commandments that have served as the basis and foundation for morality, for millennia.

It's hard to overstate the significance of the Ten Commandments and our necessity to embrace them and live under their authority.
