of his very real presence in your life. Well, first of all, I want to say it's just so great

to be back in the saddle again. I've been gone for the last three days in New Jersey for a speaking

event, and I always miss you when I'm gone, but it's great to be back with you. Well, you know,

some of the verses I've been meditating on lately are these. God merely spoke, and the

heavens came to be. He stooped down to behold both heaven and earth. Think about that. He heals

the brokenhearted, binds up their wounds. He put the stars in place and calls them each by name.

At the blast of his breath, the bottom of the ocean can be seen. By mercy and loving kindness and truth,

wickedness is cleansed from the heart, and by fear of the Lord, one avoids evil. Isn't that

powerful? That's from progress. By mercy and loving kindness and truth, wickedness is cleansed

from the heart, and by the fear of the Lord, one avoids evil. So on one hand, God is not one

to be trifled with,

but on the other hand, you know, he, because of Jesus' work on the cross, he invites us to come

boldly, humbly, into his presence where we can stand before him without fault and with great joy.

You know, may we never ever lose the wonder of our access to God's presence, and may we never

presume upon his goodness.
