Good morning, everyone, and welcome back to another morning with the masters.

We're going to devote ourselves to the Lord daily with you.

It's just me today, folks, sweet tea, baby Micah needed a little rest, and so we're going

to pick up with new morning mercies, but before we jump in, I just want to give you guys

a quick reminder that starting December 14th is when we'll do day one of our 12 days

of Christmas giveaway, and then tomorrow December 13th is when we'll put a little Google

doc in the description for you guys to see what gifts were given out, and then also submit

if that's a gift that you would potentially like to win.

So being the lookout for tomorrow's description of the podcast, I'm just going to go and

jump into today's devotional.

A little preface, the first half of it is a good chunk of scripture, and it kind of

reads like a poem, and honestly, I've already read it, it's insanely beautiful.

So if you're in a place where you're not driving, if you can close your eyes and just listen

to it, I really encourage you just to just receive this scripture that I'm going to read

over all of us right now.

It's Isaiah chapter 53 verses one through four and seven through nine, and it says this,

who has believed what he has heard from us, and to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?

For he grew up before him like a young plant, and like a root out of the dry ground, he

had no form or majesty that we should look at him, and no beauty that we should desire

him.

He was despised and rejected by men, a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief, and

as one from whom men hide their faces, he was despised and we esteemed him not.
