So I took this job to go to Apple because societally, like, that's what I was supposed to do.

How would you like turn down a job at Apple, especially like a couple years out of school?

You know, I could tell my mom could finally tell her friends what I did for a living.

You know, I could get my teeth fixed, you know.

I could get a little stock, like all these things. Like,

that was supposed to be it. Cash it in. Call it a day. Go chilling, you know, in the Bay,

in the Bay. And I went out there and, you know, I was living and loving New York City at that

point about, you know, I don't know, I went to school here and four or five years.

And I went out there and it just, there's no shade it for the folks in the bay, but it was just like it wasn't for me.

His art and his words are so beloved to me that I have commissioned him in the past, and I have recommended him to other friends who've done, he's done, you know, big, serious projects at both home and commercial scale.

He's been on walls, buildings, packaging, shoes, clothing, books, magazine covers, galleries,

you name it, all over the world.

For his fine art and also with brands like Nike, Apple, Google, MoMA, Netflix, Tiffany,

I mean, list goes on and on.

He, you may know him from his Sharpie art.

That was his early work.

And it was also a book called Sharpie Art Workshop, which was one of the ways that I first

became acquainted with Timothy's work.

He's ran a number of social experiments that got really a wide ranging and wide reaching acclaim.
