Go 10x on that very specific thing, drown yourself in webinars and content and just information and blueprints from the other people who are doing this one very specific thing. In the process, burn yourself out and then move on to the next huge goal before you've even ever come up for air, |
| 3:30.0 | after achieving the previous one. Like, can you relate to that? I see that happening all the time, especially with network marketers, especially with coaches. I just see people kind of, you know, doing what they think that they're supposed to be doing. And honestly, it makes me crazy. It makes me absolutely crazy because it limits our creativity. It stifles our natural God-given talents and it sucks the fun out of life and out of business. I was, you know, I was reflecting yesterday. |
| 4:00.0 | On everything that I do and everything that I've created and I was thinking about the pop-up shop that I did for my vintage line back in May. I was like, I should do another one before the holidays. Like, how fun would that be? And then I started going through some of my inventory. And I was packaging up a few orders for these beautiful vintage sequin jackets that I sold and I listed this gorgeous like 1980s vintage snake bracelet. And while I was doing that, my emails were coming in for people that were signing up for iconic. So I was getting these automatic notifications. |
| 4:29.0 | While that was happening, my private clients were messaging me on boxer, talking about all their successes from the week and the things they're excited about. And earlier that day, I had negotiated a foreign book deal. So all of this to say, you can create a brand and a business doing whatever the fuck you want to do. It gets to be fun. It gets to be dynamic. It gets to be unique. It gets to be thrilling. It gets to be fulfilling and exciting. |
| 4:55.0 | Being a dynamic businesswoman requires a mindset though, right? I think it's a mindset that a lot of people don't even have. So they can't teach it and talk about it and coach on it. And we're going to be digging into all of this within iconic. |

| 5:16.0 | I think, you know, with all of the, you know, the sort of like how-tos and rulebooks out there, people forget we get to be creative. |
| 5:27.0 | We get to be creative. You get to have fun, right? You get to try new things and you get to experiment with new versions of yourself. |
| 5:34.0 | When you do something different or unique in your business, like for example, my vintage line, that brings out a whole different side of me as a woman, as a businesswoman. |
| 5:44.0 | I mean, I took up an interest in vintage and I took some courses at FIT, which is the Fashion Institute of Technology. |
| 5:51.0 | I learned how to, you know, set up a retail pop-up shop. I got like immersed in this whole other world that I wouldn't have been immersed in if I had just only committed to writing books and coaching and doing this. |
| 6:03.0 | Which by the way, I absolutely love to do. It's not like I dropped one thing for the other. I just sort of created this other leg of my brand. |
| 6:13.0 | Now, I think people, what I've heard from a lot of my clients is like, well, I don't want to look all over the place. |
| 6:18.0 | And how do I get people to, you know, to trust me and to not think that I'm flaky or that I'm trying too many different things. |
