He's an author, inspirational speaker, former pastor, someone who's just bringing positivity into this world when we so sorely need it.

Many of you may follow Carlos over on Instagram where he and I often interact. He is at Los Whit at L.O.S.W.H.I.T. over there.

Where among the things that he does is raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for total strangers for people doing good in the world.

He truly is an amazing person. He is out with a new book called How to Human. It's actually his fourth book. It has lessons on how we can connect with one another again during these very divisive times.

Carlos and I talk about that in this conversation. How he puts himself out there on social media, sometimes taking incoming but realizing that that is sometimes what you need to do to make a difference.

He talks about the things that he has learned when we start to listen to one another again. We also talk in this conversation about the impact of technology on our lives, some of the novel things that he does to unplug and not get sucked too deep into social media,

how he also maintains a positive outlook in what can be a very nasty place as some of us know. I think all of you will really enjoy this conversation.

He is a true pleasure to speak to just an optimist, positive approach. I learned a lot in this conversation.

We have, and I am, I am here. What's funny is we just had a conversation saying that we're doing this face to face over the computer, but I'm literally flying to New York tomorrow.

We could have done it in person, but hey, we're just going to get it done.

We got to get it done. It's too long. We're not risking anything at this point.

That's right. If we've learned anything about this world, and certainly you discussed in depth in your new book about 2020.

So I feel lucky to be part of what you call the insta familiar.

Frankly, so it wasn't for 2020 and it wasn't for Instagram. We would not be having this conversation.

We wouldn't today, at least not on my end.
