So how do you find a healthy church when virtually every other church in your past has been unhealthy and has let you down

So let's paint a picture. Okay, imagine you were raised in a local church and you spent

your early childhood in teen years there. The church began to go through

some hardship. Worship pastor would leave. The youth pastor would leave. The college pastor would leave. And as

they did, they took the youth ministry and the worship ministry and the college ministry with them.

These splits begin to upset the local community. And the church begins to clamp down on loyalty messaging.

Because your lead guy has got this vision from God and this prophetic call for your city,

he begins to say, man, to be disloyal.

To leave and to abandon what God is doing here is really to be disloyal and to abandon God

himself because of the prophetic vision he is given

your local community. Leaving then becomes synonymous with the life of Jonah, not honoring the prophetic

call on your life. You feel a little disillusion because even as a teen, you can see through the

smoke screen and it looks like your church has become a little culty. So once you turn 18, you find

your way out of that house and out of that

church, and you find yourself in another church. You start serving in that local community as a young

adult. It's still charismatic and you still see prophecy, but there's not these major splits in the church,

and the church doesn't feel obligated to clamp down on loyalty language. So you feel a little safer,
