How many of us have started a particular day with the sun shining and the birds singing

and ended the day wondering how it would make it through until tomorrow?

Today on a new beginning, Pastor Greg Lory points out how Jesus is with us in the midst of our trials.

And how those trials may be hand-picked to turn us into the stalwart saints God wants us to be.

Romans 5, I'm going to read verses 1 to 11 and by the way I'm reading from the new living translation.

Therefore, right's fault.

Since we have been justified, that's a King James translation, here in the new living it says,

we've been made right with God by faith.

We have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us.

Because of our faith, Christ has brought us into this place of undeserved privilege

where we now stand and we confidently and joyfully look forward to sharing God's glory.

We can rejoice too when we run into problems and trials for we know they help us develop endurance

and endurance develops strength of character and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation.

In this hope will not lead to disappointment for we know how dearly God loves us because He has

given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with love. When we were utterly helpless,
